SUNDAY MARCH 27, 6-10 PM
The Black Cloud Gallery is having Karaoke–Metal Style! During the show, we will feature the artwork of
the Zombie Apocalypse. Balls to the wall!
Metaloake, hosted by Mary Mac of Maryoke and DJ
Eleven will also include prizes like rock trading cards, PBR swag, concert tees, rock posters and vinyl. Come sing your favorite Rock or Metal song and see Zombie art, graphic medical
illustrations, pin up and hot rod artwork, and zombie skateboard decks! We guarantee it'll rock your face off!
We will be featuring artwork of the following artists:
Kimberly MacAulay- Large, post apocalyptic portraits are
up to 7 feet x 5 feet. These amazing figurative
paintings make an unreal subject seem, well, real. Even though MacAulay's
subject matter can be considered dark they are riddled with emotion and yearning.
Anna Vlaminck- A published medical illustrator (The Texas Heart Institute
Journal, and The Journal of Trauma, Injury, Infection, and Critical Care) and one of our past Featured Artists, will be showing her latest illustrations of the human body.
Eric Cronin- Stark, gritty multi-media pieces representing his views of the
labor force of Chicago's urbanism, influenced from the culture of motorcycles and tattoos. He returns to show some new work.
